Leadership Training

We offer a range of stand alone and bespoke leadership training programmes for small & medium sized organisations as well as Integrated Care Systems & Primary Care Networks.

Our programmes can be multi or uni-professional and are suitable for a wide range of leadership experience.

Our intention is to offer leaders the opportunity to make better sense of their complex roles & tasks as they engage in more coherent ways of noticing, thinking, feeling, relating and taking action.

Our approach to leadership is fundamentally systemic & relational.

In our experience conventional leadership & management approaches are increasingly inadequate when the task of leadership falls across multiple competing contexts and an unpredictable system.

Our systemic approach enables leaders to move beyond the simplistic notions of networks and scale, which can often be the focus of ‘systems’ discussions.

By integrating concepts such as dialogical practice, complexity thinking, narrative approaches & principles of group dynamics we enable leaders to co-create new and more effective approaches to leadership inquiry, collaboration, dialogue, innovation and high quality service delivery .

Throughout our programme leaders will be introduced to core systemic principles & frameworks and supported as they apply them to the real and practical leadership challenges they face.

We create safe neutral spaces along the way for debate, challenge, feedback, experimentation, sense-making & meaning-making.

Leadership is fundamentally a relational activity, and where useful, we may surface power dynamics, assumptions, inconsistencies and tensions so that leaders learn to attend to significant 'punctuation points'  in relationships and act more sensitively & coherently.

The programmes also equip leaders with skills to navigate key leadership contextual levels such as:

CULTURE

RELATIONSHIP

IDENTITY

ROLE

TASK

In our experience leadership can be a lonely and challenging space to inhabit.

Therefore we also provide opportunities along the way for leaders to build new relationships and communities of practice which can continue to be supportive long after our input has ended.
